I keep a nondescript barbershop tucked away in the historic district of Winchester. It’s a place for those who appreciate a traditional barbering experience in an intimate, low-key setting.
A canine companion keeps me company in the shop, and I offer discounts to law enforcement and rescue services. While my shop isn’t the most child-friendly environment, I welcome clients of all ages and specialize in working with autistic children.
I value being punctual for my clients and I offer a level of customer service that sometimes stretches the boundaries of social convention. My barbershop is a retreat—a quiet escape for introverts, the overworked, and the overstimulated.

I do not take walk in services nor do I take appointments by the phone.

Lance AKA the “Old Goat” is a highly trained barber . He has worked in salons and barbershops alike. Lance started classical Italian training in the art of hairdressing and barbering at the age of 20. His work has been featured on stage, television, and runways in Washington, D.C., New York and Boston. He has a passion for helping his customers feel and look their best which is evident in his highly skilled and crafted work.
With 35 years experience behind the chair, he is equally skilled in working with long hair as he is in delivering precise skin fades. His razor work is unmatched—whether you’re looking for a classic straight-edge shave or a razor cut on any length of hair.
